A bearded Christ wearing a crown of thorns, with head tilted to the right, is nailed to a simple, dark wooden cross. The figure shows the wounds of crucifixion and wears a decorative breechcloth with a red and yellow horizontal pattern. The figure's fingers are not delineated.
