Title:
What Can I Do? Student Activism in Times of Crisis

Description:
We are living in tumultuous times and many people are drawing parallels to the late 60s and early 70s, when war raged in Vietnam, assassins claimed the lives of beloved leaders, a president resigned in disgrace, and college students and other activists took to the streets for justice and peace. Our Jesuit university identity compels us to respond to the crises of our day and to defend the most marginalized of our society. In order to understand our responsibilities as a Jesuit University community, our Good Trouble Conversation will examine this connection between past and present, highlighting the thoughts and experiences of todays college students and of those Regis University faculty who were part of or witness to -- that earlier wave of college student activism 50 years ago.
