Description:
Roughly rectangular piece of tanned hide hangs from a wooden crossbar by a length of rawhide at each top corner. The painting represents a crowned, female figure wearing a red robe and blue cape standing on an upturned crescent moon held by an angel, and the figure is surrounded by a body halo and mandala. The outer margins of the hide are painted in a floral motif, as is the top crossbar, which also depicts a centrally positioned dove.
